Gorge MakerSpace is currently leading a class every Wednesday at our Community Youth Center. MakerSpace is a relatively new movement which teaches kids problem solving skills through science and technology. The kids are able to learn at their own pace and work on projects that are fun and inspiring to them in a creative and welcoming environment.

Gorge MakerSpace recently received a donation which enabled them to purchase a 3D printer. It has been incorporated into the curriculum and the kids love it!

Check out this fantastic article from the Christian Science Monitor about the MakerSpace movement. White Salmon's own MakerSpace teacher, Jack Perrin, is quoted.

Sound interesting? Check out the MakerSpace website to see how you can get your kids involved in this fantastic learning opportunity.
