Neat requires that you first activate your QuickBooks ID in order to use your neat scanner with Quickbooks.

You can accomplish that by following these steps.

  1. Go to Cloud.neat.com to sign in to your Neat account. Make a Neat account if you don’t already have one.
  2. The second step is to hover over the arrow button on the top of the navigation bar once you are in Neat. You’ll see a drop-down when you click on the arrow. On the My account page, click the button.
  3. Click on the accounting option on the window that appears, then click on the Connect to Quickbooks tab.
  4. In Step Four, Neat will ask you for the credentials you use to connect to Quickbooks. Please fill out all the details and then click on the sign-in link.
  5. After connecting, Neat will need your permission to access and work with your Quickbooks company files.
  6. As soon as the authorization is authorized, the Neat scanner can be used with Quickbooks.
